Describe:  The School of Finance of Nankai University (which will come into existence in early 2015) invites applications for tenured/tenured-track faculty positions at all levels in the fields of finance, insurance and risk management, financial engineering, actuarial science, theoretical and applied econometrics, and other interrelated subjects in economics, statistics, and management. There are a large number of opening positions (about 50 at different levels and in various forms) in the School of Finance within the next few years. The school welcomes applications from both Ph.D. candidates and junior and senior professors (or researchers), and certainly welcomes applicants with diversified backgrounds in all nationalities. Recruiting is conducted throughout the year. However, to be considered for interviews at the ASSA meetings in Boston in January 2015, applicants should apply by December 15, 2014. Generally, applicants of Ph.D. candidates are expected to complete their doctoral program before July 31, 2015. Appointments commence on July 1, 2015. Salary and benefits are highly competitive.
