The CRCPP is preparing to open an office in the US or UK. We would like to invite an experienced manager to help us building and running the office. Committed to becoming a truly world-class think tank, the CRCPP hopes to bring together scholars from the US/UK and China in collaborative work, as well as to increase our visibility on the world stage through this office. At current stage, major responsibilities of the US/UK office director include: Invite prominent scholars to join the CRCPP and support their research. Facilitate communication between the US/UK-based scholars and the China-based scholars/China-based office. Promote the visibility of the CRCPP and its research productions in the think tank community, the policy community and other relevant communities. Build and sustain networks with other think tanks, government, NGOs and foundations. Host visiting scholars and officers from china We could adjust our office location based on the director’s convenience. The director’s responsibilities could also change with the evolution of the U.S. office functions. We are open to all the possibilities and opportunities, and we would like to have the director play an active role in deciding how the US/UK office work together with the Beijing office. The director could work as full-time employee or on a part-time basis. The person: A minimum of 10 years management experience, preferably in international organizations/academic institutions/ NGOs Working level proficiency in both Chinese and English Superior organizational skills and communication skills; initiative, discretion and mature judgment A background in a research or academic setting combined with private sector project management experience is preferred To Apply Please send via email a full resume,a cover letter as well as other relevant materials(optional) to: wenhanqiao@gmail.com
